STAGE FRIGHT reviews

The Rock Pit reviews STAGE FRIGHT and had this to say, amongst other things, ‘Stage Fright is old school PI pulp fiction dragged into the now by it’s high heels and stylish skirt, deliberately designed to be easily readable – presumably by the busy chick on the go who wants a literary release without descending into the dross of a romance novel, the contrived smut of 50 Shades Of Grey, or the over-testosteroned field of blokey literature, and on that remit it succeeds with a gold star.’

Samelia’s Mum lists it as one of her Five Friday Finds.

Wickedly Good Series

What do you get when you cross a romantic, lighthearted, paranormal, mystery, with a temperamental broomstick and a monkey? You get Janet Evanovich’s  Lizzy and Diesel series.

Diesel, the tall, dark and handsome guy, with a heightened ability to find things, manages to gain the help of pastry chef, Elizabeth Tucker, to find these priceless items. After they’ve found them, thanks mostly to Liz’s ability to sense ‘special’ objects; their job is to keep them away from Diesel’s cousin, Gerewulf (Wolf) and his crazy side-kick, Hatchet.

The Aurora Teagarden novels were actually some of Harris’ first – way before the time ofTrue Blood and Sookie Stackhouse. However, with the popularity of the author’s other novels, it’s time for re-release so we can all discover and meet this new/old heroine. I, for one, am pretty happy about this idea – too much Harris is never enough.
